Privacy statement

We (Momentous Apps) care about your right to privacy. Therefore, we comply with what the Data Protection Act requires of us. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we collect and use and why we do that.

The use of personal data

In the BraveryCord app, the name of the child, the day on which the treatment starts and information about all the beads is saved on the user’s device. This information will only be saved on the iPhone, iPod or iPad of the user, not on our servers or third party servers. The BraveryCord app does provide the possibility to share personal information about the cord if the user wants to do so.

Your personal data

As the BraveryCord app only saves your personal data on the user’s device, and nowhere else, it is not required to register the use of the BraveryCord app.

We cannot provide your personal data to third parties.


We request minors under the age of 18 to not share personal information about their cord without the explicit consent of parents or guardians.


From version 4.2 (iPhone and iPad) and version 4.3.1 (Android), statistics are no longer collected in the app.

Older versions do collect statistics within the BraveryCord app. In order to do this, we use "Flurry" (please see These statistics are fully anonymised at all times and are solely used to improve the functioning of the BraveryCord app. If you wish, we can exclude you from these statistics. Third party websites

This statement does not apply to third party websites that are connected with the BraveryCord app by means of links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties use your personal data in a safe and reliable manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of these websites before you use these websites.

Storing the BraveryCord temporarily on a server

In version 4.6 and up of the Android version, the BraveryCord app can move the necklace from one Android device to another via a server. In this case, the necklace is temporarily (3 days) stored on the server, and can be retrieved on another Android device using a 10-letter code. The necklace will automatically be removed after 3 days.
